The Corn Plant a Beautiful Air Purifier
A natural way to purify indoor air is with the Corn Plant, Dracaena fragrans ‘Massangeana’. Yesterday I wondered which were the most popular plants, so I did some online research. I came across the Corn Plant. It makes an ideal house plant because it is easy to take care of and naturally cleans the air.
Unfortunately I also learned that Corn plant is toxic to dogs and cats. If the plant is ingested, vomiting and increased salivation can occur.
My Newest African Violet

A Foggy and Damp California Morning
Foggy and damp definitely described the view out of the front window this morning. We could barely see any of the neighborhood houses. I went into our family room and turned on the electric fireplace. You can see it below. I love the way it cozies up the room.
Next I went to the kitchen to make my morning cup of coffee, in my snowman mug.
Before long, the sun broke through and I was out in the garden, checking on my plants. Not long ago I showed you my flowering Thanksgiving cactus. Well, now it’s the day before Christmas, and my Christmas Cactus is very close to blooming. You can see it below.
It always amazes me to see how these plants know exactly what to do. I ‘m keeping the Christmas Cactus inside for a few days, so we can enjoy the beautiful color up close.
A Pretty Kitty At Christmas
This pretty kitty whose name is Sophie belongs to a good friend of mine. My friend sent me these photos earlier this evening and I wanted to share them with you.
Sophie was obviously very comfortable in her Christmas wreath. The second photo shows her snuggled in and sound asleep. So glad my friend sent me these photos. Hope you enjoy them as much as I did.
