These bright Yellow marigolds brightened my early morning walk. The air was still misty and their bright color seemed to jump out at me.
It’s a rainy day in California. I actually see water dripping off of leaves. It’s been awhile. Above you can see Annika pretending to be asleep, so she doesn’t have to go out for a walk in the wet. Unlike Annika, my garden is very happy to see the rain. Continue reading
Yesterday was for pink flowers, and this morning while on our patio, I realized that today is for yellow flowers.
Our yellow hibiscus had several beautiful flowers. Working in the backyard, I spotted a small yellow flower on one of our succulents.You can see it below.
We are in the midst of a Southern California weather pattern right now that happens every year; it is called June gloom. I wrote about it previously in a post called The June Gloom is Over. On overcast days like today, there is nothing more cheerful than a bright yellow flower.
