A Visit to Niguel Botanical Preserve

Niguel Botanical Preserve isĀ  only nine miles from our house, but we had never heard of it until two weeks ago. Last Saturday we took a scooter ride to have a look.

It was a very hot day, so we did not stay as long as we would have liked to. It would have been wonderful to hike one of the many trails. Below are a few photos I took while we walked around.

One of many rose bushes in the rose garden.

Only part of the cactus garden.

Some of the lovely colors we saw while there.

I’d never heard of a black eyed Susan Vine, until that day.

Niguel Botanical Preserve is definitely worth seeing. I know we will be going back and hiking a few of the trails.
