I took this photo of my red geranium with my camera’s kaleidoscope setting. Can you tell? I took this photo using the kaleidoscope setting, once again. It has been a busy day, starting with aqua aerobics and tonight I begin my guitar class. I am excited, but a little nervous as well.
In between I was out in the garden pruning and fertilizing my geraniums.

Our Pinata climbing rose is one of my favorites. It is so colorful and I can’t resist taking photos of it. I better go now and get ready for my guitar class. Will let you know how it goes. Wish me luck.

A Nighttime Photography Field Trip

During a nighttime photography field trip, I took this photo at the Anaheim Regional Transportation Center in Anaheim, California. It was one of the stops on a night time photography field trip I took with my photo class. The station was amazing to see, especially at night.

Here is the building from the outside. It really is worth a visit, even if you aren’t planning to ride the metrolink train.

The original reason for our field trip to Anaheim, was nighttime photography practice during the Disneyland fireworks, but unfortunately the fireworks were canceled because of wind. I took the above photo in Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. It really is a spectacular hotel. A few of us went in to have a look around.

Another beautiful lamp inside the hotel. You can tell, that I love lamps. Although we did not see the fireworks, I had no problem finding interesting things to photograph. I didn’t get home until 11:30 P.M., but it was well worth the late night excursion.
