The day before we left Virgin Utah, we took a drive to Kolob Reservoir. It took us through a lesser known part of Zion National Park. I spotted the above cabin while we were driving and wanted to take a photo. It looked so very cozy.
Red and green are complementary colors and this green pine tree next to the red rock is a perfect example.
We left Utah at sunrise. Here you can see the sun reflected on the top of the mountain.
From the natural beauty of Zion, to the grand architecture of Las Vegas. It was quite a change.
We did not stop, only viewed the buildings from the highway as we passed.
Finally, we were in Southern California. Its mountains and desert have a look of their own.
It was a wonderful vacation, but it was good to be back in our own state heading home to Orange County.
