When I started Plum Bird Corner, my goal was to make it a delightful place to visit. I wanted to fill it with beautiful color. While on a walk yesterday I took the above photo of this Cape Plumbago. I think these blue flowers certainly fit the description of beautiful color. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

My Echeveria ‘Lola’ is blooming. I wrote about it in January see here. I’m happy to say it survived the rains, even though I was concerned because it sat in water, which isn’t good for succulents. Above is a closeup of the flower. Below you can see how the blossom appears at the end of a long stem. Continue reading
