My Favorite Spot to Relax and Knit

I was back in one of my favorite places today. At our game table next to the living room window. I am learning to make a Mobius Cowl scarf. I hadn’t felt like working on it lately, but today I was right back at it.This type of scarf is knit on a circular knitting needle. I will continue to knit in the round until the scarf reaches the desired size. I’ll be sure to post a photo when it is finished. Please stay tuned.
Hats For the Homeless

My mom taught me to knit when I was a little girl, and we are still avid knitters. Above is a photo of a few of the hats Mom knits for the homeless. I’m proud of her for thinking about and doing something for those who are less fortunate. The son of a good friend of mine makes sure the hats find their way to someone who is in need of a warm hat. I’m proud of him as well for doing something for others. Mom and Michael are both very special people.

Last week I wrote about the Crafty Ladies charity knitting/crocheting group. This was my second week with them and it was so much fun. Below is a photo of the group. You can see, there was a lot of Christmas spirit to be found.
