I recently discovered a free photo editing app called Aviary and it does some fun and amazing things.  I used the Splash option to edit the above photo. It changes your photo to monochrome, and then you are able to highlight the color of your choice, as I did with the African Violet above.

Here I highlighted  the red flower against the monochrome.

I love this photo of our daughter sitting next to this bright pink bollard at the harbor. Aviary really is a great app, and it’s free.You will be amazed when you see all that it can do. Kids will love it too.
