I took this photo of my red geranium with my camera’s kaleidoscope setting. Can you tell? I took this photo using the kaleidoscope setting, once again. It has been a busy day, starting with aqua aerobics and tonight I begin my guitar class. I am excited, but a little nervous as well.
In between I was out in the garden pruning and fertilizing my geraniums.

Our Pinata climbing rose is one of my favorites. It is so colorful and I can’t resist taking photos of it. I better go now and get ready for my guitar class. Will let you know how it goes. Wish me luck.
An African Violet and the Kaleidoscope Setting
I really like this photograph of one of my African Violets. I bought this plant several months ago at the 99 Cents Only Store. It has started blooming again and I just love it. I can’t believe that I paid only 99 cents for this beautiful plant. I wish now I had bought more than one.

This evening I was playing around with my iPad and discovered the Photo Booth app, with its many options for taking photos. Above is a photo I took of my African Violet, using the kaleidoscope setting. Pretty cool, don’t you think?

A Colorful Walk in Chula Vista, California

A colorful walk in Chula Vista fulfilled one of my main goals for Plum Bird Corner, which is to fill it with colorful photos. We’ve just arrived home from an enjoyable stay at the Chula Vista RV Resort. On one of my walks in search of colorful subjects I spotted the above Chevy truck from Texas. It certainly is colorful. I spoke to the owners who were from Dallas, and they were flattered when I asked permission to photograph their pride and joy.
Later on the same walk I spotted these gorgeous roses. They became subject number two. They were so beautiful, especially next to the white picket fence.
Subject number three, was San Diego Bay. It’s not bright in color, but the clear water sparkled from the sun and sand. The RV park is next to the bay and I love being able to walk so close to the water. We really had a good trip, but it is always nice to be home.
