My mom taught me to knit when I was a little girl, and we are still avid knitters. Above is a photo of a few of the hats Mom knits for the homeless. I’m proud of her for thinking about and doing something for those who are less fortunate. The son of a good friend of mine makes sure the hats find their way to someone who is in need of a warm hat. I’m proud of him as well for doing something for others. Mom and Michael are both very special people.
Rain Drops on Roses
We’ve had several days of much needed rain in southern California. As I walked around our garden this morning I couldn’t help but notice the beauty of the raindrops on roses. I ran into the house and found my camera.
The leaves were silvery. It was beautiful in the garden after the rain.
Join a Knitting Group. It’s so Much Fun!
I’ve been doing a lot of knitting lately and really enjoying it. Above are two of my current projects, a baby blanket and a scarf. Last week I wrote about the Crafty Ladies charity knitting/crocheting group. This was my second week with them and it was so much fun. Below is a photo of the group. You can see, there was a lot of Christmas spirit to be found.
Christmas Shopping Time for Our Annika
