Purple pansies immediately drew my attention as we drove into the Olive Avenue RV Park. We are planning to stay there in a few weeks. We had studied their web site and it looked very nice, but it’s always good to see these places in person ahead of time, if you can. Yesterday we took a drive south, to Vista California, to have a look. Purple pansies decorated the garden surrounding the park’s office. We were very happy with what we saw and are now looking forward to spending part of our vacation there. My hubby Martin especially liked the idea of coffee and doughnuts on Saturday mornings. Sounds tempting to me, as well.
Remembering These Flowers
This morning I was looking through old photos when I came across this one. I photographed these flowers on a previous morning’s walk. During our June Gloom mornings it makes me happy to see such brightness. I enjoy the early morning clouds, but still it’s wonderful to see the bright white flowers. I do not know the name of this shrub, so if you do, feel free to let me know.
Bright Yellow Marigolds
These bright Yellow marigolds brightened my early morning walk. The air was still misty and their bright color seemed to jump out at me.
A Bright Yellow Lily
I love this bright yellow lily. I went to the gym Thursday morning, but after thirty minutes on the treadmill, I decided to stop my inside exercise and go outdoors. There was a light rain falling, but being outside felt so good. Seeing the above bright yellow lily was an added benefit to finishing my walk outside. I was glad I had my phone in my pocket and was able to take this photo.
This second beautiful lily was given to me two years ago and it has never failed to bloom. Every year when it blooms I am reminded of my friends kindness and generosity.
Saw This Floribunda while Walking
We recently spent three days in Temecula, California. During an early morning walk, I saw this lovely white floribunda rose. The photo below shows more of the same plant.
