We arrived home yesterday from our four day trip to Chula Vista, California, where I took the above photo of this gorgeous Petunia blossom during a morning walk.

On our second day there we spent the afternoon in nearby Balboa Park. I absolutely love the Arboretum and could spend an entire day taking photos and admiring the beautiful plants.

Next we looked around the Spanish Village Art Center, where several artists have studios and you can see many of them at work. Below is one of the studios with a sample of the artist’s work on display.

I found this charming door while exploring, and was so intrigued by it that I had to take a photo.

We had a wonderful time in Chula Vista and San Diego, but as usual it’s good to be home.
