African Violets are a favorite of mine, but it has been quite some time since I brought a new one home. I shop at Trader Joe’s quite often, and they always have a wonderful display of plants outside the store. This week they had a beautiful selection of African Violets, and I could not resist. I bought one for myself, and one for my mom.
If you enter African Violets in the search box, on the Home Page of Plum Bird Corner, you will find several previous posts that give details about the care of these plants. I do hope you will take a look.
I would love to know if you have African Violets in your home, and if you have any secrets for keeping them flowering.
Until next time.
I have two African Violets and they do quite well in the windowsill and next to eachother–I moved one once and noticed they both started to deteriorate! I moved them back together and they recovered. Plant Besties!!
Hi Nicole, I love this story. I think I will buy a buddy for my violet. Thanks for your comment.
