This is Charlie, the 11 year old Springer Spaniel I met during my Wednesday walk. He was such a gentle boy, as you can probably tell from his photo. The weather is still quite warm in Southern California, so Charlie was resting in the shade. I spend Wednesdays in classes that are held at Laguna Woods Village, a senior community close to where we live. Between my morning and afternoon class I have my daily walk, which sometimes takes me near one of several golf courses in Laguna Woods.  I carry my camera with me and always find something or someone special to photograph, like gentle Charlie and the beautiful greens of the golf course.
