Colorful and interesting plants seemed to be on my walking route today.

Summer means more flowers for me to enjoy on my daily walks. I tried to find out the name of this lively flower. My plant search kept saying California Poppy, but I’m not convinced. I would love to know what you think.

Next I saw this silver green shrub. My plant search app says Brittlebush. (Encelia farinosa).

When I returned home, I was met by my faithful yellow hibiscus. She never fails to surprise me when I suddenly see her bright yellow flowers.
