It’s almost New Year’s Eve, and I can hardly believe it. The poinsettias are beginning to fade and will be moved outside soon, but my African Violets are starting to bloom. Each day our kitchen window sill grows more colorful.

African Violets are a real favorite of mine. I wrote about their care and upkeep in a post earlier this year. Above you can see two of my many plants that are flowering and below  I’ve give my poinsettia one last time in the spotlight. It’s still looking quite bright and cheerful.
