Our classes have been canceled, and we are social distancing. Our weather in southern California has been cold and rainy. I am spending more time in my house and quite honestly getting cabin fever. Yesterday when I woke and realized I had nowhere to go and no one to see, I decided to spend time in my garden. Fortunately though cloudy, it was not raining. I was surprised to find out what was happening in the back yard while I was spending so much time inside. I want to share the lovely color I found coming from one of my succulents, and below you can see that even during difficult times, the Don Juan climbing rose is preparing to bloom.  It is so reassuring to know that nature remains beautiful and is always there waiting for us to enjoy.
