Irvine Station, this is where I was at 8:15 this morning. I was a little early, and was waiting for the rest of my class and our instructor to arrive before I purchased my ticket. It was a gorgeous morning and perfect for the photography class field trip to San Diego. At 8:30 I was still the only one there, and I began to get a sick feeling in my stomach. You know, the kind that tells you something is wrong. I pulled out the trip information from my purse and read it. I was a day early! This was a first for me. I was more than a little upset with myself. I drove home thinking that at least I now knew the way, and where to park. Martin was rather surprised to see me when he arrived home from his class.
We are still having unusually warm weather for this time of year, so we decided to ride our scooters toward the coast. We headed for Laguna Beach, had some lunch and then spent the afternoon climbing hills on our scooters and enjoying the ocean view.
What started out with a disappointing morning, ended up becoming a wonderful day. Martin and I had definitely found the silver lining.
