This photo of these two smiling ladies filled me with happiness this morning when I first saw it. This is our youngest daughter, and her aunt who is visiting. They are on the water rowing a dinghy and having such a great time. It really started my day off in a wonderful way.

These are two of my African Violet plants that are doing so well. Last year I began to give them a little liquid fertilizer and it really has made a difference. In June I wrote the post, How to Grow African Violets. Since then I’ve been following my own advice routinely and I’m seeing the results. This may seem a silly post, but my day started with a big smile and just got better and better. Hope these photos bring a little happiness to you too.
