My Echeveria ‘Lola’ is blooming. I wrote about it in January see here. I’m happy to say it survived the rains, even though I was concerned because it sat in water, which isn’t good for succulents. Above is a closeup of the flower. Below you can see how the blossom appears at the end of a long stem.

This last photo is one of the newest additions to my Echeveria collection. It is Echeveria’Compressicaullis’ and is much darker in color and smaller than my other Echeveria succulents. If you would like to learn more about this variety, you can read about it here. You can see that it’s also getting ready to flower. When that happens I’ll post a picture. In fact several of my Echeveria plants are close to flowering, and I’ll be posting some of them as well. I’m looking forward to seeing the color of the different flowers. This is a fun time of the year for fans of Echeveria succulents.
