We recently spent three days in Temecula, California. During an early morning walk, I saw this lovely white floribunda rose. The photo below shows more of the same plant.

When I started Plum Bird Corner, my goal was to make it a delightful place to visit. I wanted to fill it with beautiful color. While on a walk yesterday I took the above photo of this Cape Plumbago. I think these blue flowers certainly fit the description of beautiful color. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

Today was my guitar lesson day. Above you can see my guitar. It’s a Taylor ‘Baby’, and the 3/4 size is perfect for me. A full size guitar is just too big. I learned that many women play the smaller size. In an earlier post I showed a photo of my first guitar. Take a look. I began teaching myself, but finally started taking lessons. Now I actually practice every day. It’s amazing how having a teacher can make you push yourself harder. At least that is how it is for me. I love playing and I’m so glad that I made the move to private lessons and a guitar that fits me perfectly.
