A lighthouse in Bristol Maine was our destination today. We wanted to tour the Pemaquid Lighthouse built in 1827. It was commissioned by John Quincy Adams. From the 38 foot stone tower you can see 14 miles out to sea.

Beautiful! Never have been to Maine. Have to put it on my bucket list.
You must try to go there. It really is a beautiful state.
