Surfing in Austin Texas? Our son was raised in Southern California and grew up surfing. He also authored the book, Surf Stories by Ryen Phillips. A fun read, especially if you enjoy surfing tales. A cool and easy, low calorie dessert was a perfect choice, because we are having a heat wave in California and I was looking for a cool dessert, preferably low calorie. I made some orange jello and wanted to dress it up a bit. I had some applesauce, so added some to the dish along with the jello. The combination was refreshing and tasty, plus it was easy to make. I used sugar free jello and unsweetened applesauce, so it made for a healthy, low calorie dessert. Just, what I’d been looking for.
As you saw in my last few posts, we were away for a few days camping, or RVing, which ever you prefer to call it. One of the things I love to do when I get home is wander around my garden and see what’s been happening while we were away. Continue reading
