Purple pansies immediately drew my attention as we drove into the Olive Avenue RV Park. We are planning to stay there in a few weeks. We had studied their web site and it looked very nice, but it’s always good to see these places in person ahead of time, if you can. Yesterday we took a drive south, to Vista California, to have a look. Purple pansies decorated the garden surrounding the park’s office. We were very happy with what we saw and are now looking forward to spending part of our vacation there. My hubby Martin especially liked the idea of coffee and doughnuts on Saturday mornings. Sounds tempting to me, as well.
I love this bright yellow lily. I went to the gym Thursday morning, but after thirty minutes on the treadmill, I decided to stop my inside exercise and go outdoors. There was a light rain falling, but being outside felt so good. Seeing the above bright yellow lily was an added benefit to finishing my walk outside. I was glad I had my phone in my pocket and was able to take this photo.
This second beautiful lily was given to me two years ago and it has never failed to bloom. Every year when it blooms I am reminded of my friends kindness and generosity.
When I started Plum Bird Corner, my goal was to make it a delightful place to visit. I wanted to fill it with beautiful color. While on a walk yesterday I took the above photo of this Cape Plumbago. I think these blue flowers certainly fit the description of beautiful color. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
My pink miniature rose is blooming. I love miniature roses. They give off a lot of color in a small area. In my last post I showed you my orange miniature rose. See it here. It was beautiful and I thought it was my favorite. Now that the pink rose is blooming I’m not sure which I like the best. Just wait until my red miniature rose blossoms. Then I may really have a problem deciding. Maybe they are all my favorite.
