See What Arrived During the Night

snowy view edited-1On New Year’s eve morning I went outside for our newspaper and was greeted by this view of snow on Saddleback Mountain. Rain during the night had turned to snow as the temperature dropped. By coincidence, earlier that same night my new Can-Am Spyder had been delivered, and I’d named it Snowy because of her beautiful metallic white paint. Our family often names our cars, bicycles, scooters, and now the Can-Am.

The Can-Am Spyder RS is a three-wheeled motorcycle, very different from my Buddy scooter by Genuine, which  you can see in my Scooter Adventures post and page. I have ridden my Can-Am three times and I’m happy with my choice. I love the stability of three wheels. Earlier this week there was an article in the L.A. Times on the growing popularity of three wheeled motorcycles. Snowy is a motorcycle, larger and more powerful than my scooter, and I’m hoping that our San Clemente Scooter Club will still allow me to ride with them. My sport model is smaller than most other three-wheelers.Jan on snowy
Here I’m returning from a ride on Snowy, and you can see I’m thoroughly enjoying myself. I’ve put 61 miles on my new wheels, and I’m looking forward to many more.
